ISLAMABAD (TDV): Uzbek media delegation visited Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Thursday, where it was briefed on the current state of Pakistan-Uzbekistan relations.
The delegation is in Pakistan at the invitation of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
Ambassador Sajjad Haider Khan, Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Ambassador Hasan Ali Zaigham, Director General for Central Asian Republics (CARs) and the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO), briefed the delegation on recent developments in bilateral ties.
The briefing covered ongoing initiatives to enhance trade between the two countries and strengthen connectivity, officials said, as Islamabad and Tashkent continue to expand cooperation across trade, transit and people-to-people exchanges.
The visit forms part of broader efforts to deepen Pakistan-Uzbekistan relations through media engagement and institutional dialogue.
