JAKARTA: The Center for Dialogue and Cooperation Among Civilizations (CDCC) and the Global Fulcrum of Wasatiyyat Islam are calling for the formation of a Global Alliance for a Just and Civilized Humanity. This initiative is known to have emerged in response to the failure of the old world order to prevent war in the Middle East. Din Syamsuddin, Chairman of the World Fulcrum of Wasatiyyat Islam, stated that the initiative is supported by prominent figures such as Jusuf Kalla, Said Aqil Sirojd, and Mahfud MD. The goal is to make Indonesia a driving force for nations yearning for justice.
“We call on the world to establish a Global Alliance for Just and Civilized Humanity. This is the second principle of our Pancasila,” said Din Syamsuddin in the Blok M area of South Jakarta on Monday (April 13, 2026). According to Din, the Islamic world must take a leadership role in this alliance to stop military aggression in the Middle East. “The Islamic world must appear united, be at the forefront, be the driving force, be the leading sector, and invite nations that love peace and justice,” he added.
