TDV: The Pakistan Army is carrying out coordinated ground and air operations against militants belonging to the Afghan Taliban and extremist groups referred to as Fitna al-Khawarij along the Pakistan–Afghanistan border, according to security sources.
Officials said security forces targeted a Taliban post in Shawal near South Waziristan, forcing militants to flee the area before the post was destroyed with explosives.
Sources added that continuous strikes are being conducted on militant hideouts and logistical installations to prevent cross-border attacks and disrupt extremist networks operating in the border region.
In another successful operation in Paktika Province, Pakistani forces reportedly destroyed an ammunition depot at Shahin Base, dealing a significant blow to militant infrastructure.
Security officials confirmed that Operation Ghazab lil-Haq remains ongoing, with targets being systematically neutralised. They said the operation will continue until all objectives are achieved and the threat of cross-border militancy is effectively eliminated.
