Implementation of digital technologies in the Kyrgyz Republic increased in tax revenues, Ulanbek Totuiaev

Islamabad: The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan H.E. Mr. Ulanbek Totuiaev took part in the opening ceremony of the event “Peer learning initiative “National Single Window – Implementation and Management”, organized by the Government of Pakistan together with the International Trade Centre. This event is attended by representatives of the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic, the State Customs Service under the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic, the State Enterprise “Single Window Center in the Field of Foreign Trade” under the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as from state bodies of Central Asian countries.

During his speech, H.E. Mr. Ulanbek Totuiaev informed the participants about the successful results of the implementation of digital technologies in the Kyrgyz Republic in the public administration system, which resulted in an increase in tax revenues, an increase in efficiency, as well as simplification of interaction with foreign partners. H.E. Mr. Ulanbek Totuiaev emphasized the importance of such initiatives in the development of interstate trade and economic relations, which stands as the key to successful regional development.

Representatives of the Pakistani side, as well as participants from other countries, expressed the opinion that the existing extensive potential for interaction between Pakistan and the countries of Central Asia requires a rational and coordinated approach for the successful implementation of joint initiatives. In this regard, the parties indicated the readiness for a thorough exchange of experience and the establishment of guidelines for simplifying and increasing the efficiency of trade and economic cooperation mechanisms.

The program of this event, which will last until October 14, 2022, includes technical sessions, as well as round tables with representatives of interested government agencies of Pakistan.
