Islamabad: The Chairman of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mr. Yerlan Koshanov, met Mr. Raja Pervez Ashraf, the Speaker of the National Assembly of Pakistan, Mr. Shahbaz Sharif, the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

The sides discussed the agenda of cooperation between the two countries, noted the significant trade, economic, investment, scientific and educational potential. Both sides stressed their interest in strengthening the growing interaction of the countries and the all-encompassing nature of the prospects for cooperation.

As part of the cultural awareness program, a visit to the Pakistan Monument was organized.

As part of celebration of the 30 years diplomatic relations between Kazakhstan and Pakistan With the joint participation of musicians from the two countries, a concert was organized at the Pakistan National Center for the Arts. Kazakhstani and Pakistani musicians presented national folklore works. In addition, a photo exhibition dedicated to “Modern Kazakhstan” was organized for the participants of the event.

The Year 2022 marks the 30th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between both brotherly and the visit of Chairman of the Lower House of Kazakhstan is the first-ever in the 30 years history of bilateral relations between both countries.
