BOGs Archeology and Literary Heritage Endowment Fund reviews progress of ongoing projects

ISLAMABAD: The 6th Board of Governors meeting of the Archaeology and Literary Heritage Endowment Fund reviewed the progress of ongoing projects and stressed their timely completion.
The Board of Governors meeting was held at the National Institute of Folk and Traditional Heritage (Lok Virsa), in the chairmanship of the Adviser to Prime Minister for National Heritage and Culture Engr Amir Muqam. The meeting was also attended by the Federal Secretary National Heritage and Culture Division Fareena Mazhar, Joint Secretary NH&CD Shehzad Durrani along with the senior officials of the Division.

Further, new projects/proposals were submitted by the Department of Archeology and Museum (DOAM), Pakistan Academy of Letters (PAL) and National Language Promotion Department (NLPD) were deliberated upon by Board members.
The BoG approved the project of conservation and preservation of Hafiz Alpuri Tomb in Shangla, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa submitted by DOAM.
Further, the project for the promotion of Urdu and the Compilation of Akhbar-e-Urdu by NLPD was also approved in the meeting.
